Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It shouldn't. Most of the picture is mid-blue rather than black, and the white bird and its reflection give the eye a bright path through the middle. In small spaces it actually helps to have one deep colour anchoring a pale wall. Keep the wall around it light and leave clear space either side.

Blue-grey and soft grey walls work well — the print reads as a deeper tone of the same family rather than clashing. On a navy wall, choose a lighter frame or hang it where there's good daylight so the bird still stands out. Plain off-white walls give the sharpest contrast.

Both work. Solo, it's a calm focal point on a narrow wall. In a pair or a small group of two to three, keep the companions quiet — line drawings, soft coastal scenes, or another blue-toned piece — and let this one sit at the centre as the biggest of the set.
